Find a good jeweler's lighted loop. These really help with seeing what your looking at! Happy growing!

But yes everyone saying jewelers loupe or magnification is correct! 30x will due if u have good eyes. If u have trouble focusing on smaller things a 60 is ur best bet. Dont go cheap if u need 60x it'll be to blurry to see anything. I'd have to recommend a USB micro scope if u got the coin. You can than take picture or video. And take s second look or opinion on ripeness b4 u chop. Also makes for good use in other scenarios down the road like pest identification ect. Good luck with ur harvest happy growing and stay lit fam. Btw a magnificent glass will not cut it... so first correct answer is @NorCal_Kannabliss unfortunately lmfao.

@nobody01 the pistil is the entire female reproductive system. Consisting of the 2 stigma the ovule and calyx. Which is all housed in the flower bract.

need 30-60x.. think they say "60" but you can only focus at about 30x on the cheapies, which is enough. basically pay more for better pics and/or larger field of view. i have a cheapie, they work great for their minimal function.. focus on the bract and pistil trichomes... (gah, i said calyx again on another post! stigma comes out of pistil) i like watching how they progress per strain i clone. still useful to get familiar with even if you grow new stuff all the time. plus, rarely know when harvest is, unless you are cloning and it isn't the first iteration.

A nice strong magnifying glass so you can keep and eye when they start to ripen. Cheers
