recently im buying the 1000w full spectrum oem led from China. and i know it just “labeled” 1000w. im testing it on my plant, placing it near and seems like it doesn’t burn my babies.

With my seedlings, I keep them as fast away from light at possible and if they stretch too much, bring them closer to the light or move the light closer to them. 🌱👍

It is very likely waaaaay more powerful than you think. I would not dare put that light closer than 2 ft to start. I burned the top of some mature plants with similar lights at about 15 inches.

Does my LED need more red spectrum for flowerin?I have an HLG 100v2 LED grow light at 4000K. They say 3000K is better for flowering. Does it make any sense for me to add some cheap red LED strips to add red spectrum? I’d rather not buy another more expensive light if I can just supplement this one. See picture.
