Best approach, Keep It Simple. Too often a lot of us growers want to do more, push the boundaries further, but usually less is more. Especially in this beginning stage. Water moderately, keep humidity high(i like to put a cup over mine with a hole for air and mist the cup occasionally to keep it high in the 1st several weeks), don't go high on nutrients especially with a young plant and with an autoflower. With light, i think all living things benefit from sleep so I'd keep it at a 20/4 or an 18/6.
And when it starts flowering defoliate the bottoms of leaves/branches/budsites that are in the shade, you'll usually get bigger top buds.
