Defoliate?

Will I defoliate the 1st node site as shown in the picture below, when I top her? There doesn't seem to be much growth there the last week and I'm worried that there is wasted nutrients going to this site? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Is she going to get plenty of light? I'd consider leaving here... I know I know.. You wanna do something but pretty amazing plants and if she's already outside... Might be better just to let her show you how Cannabis grows first before trying to train. Like get her healthy and strong learn that, that's the hardest part for some folks. I don't call them suckers I call them pop corn buds that make for great pressing material. And I find cannabis does a pretty fantastic job of making it's own tops heavy buds when given ample light regardless of what you do down below... It is after all programmed to flower.

Hi everyone! Thanks for the replies 😉. The vote is tied at 2 yes & 2 no with one undecided 😅. Hopefully this info will help. - Yes she is outside. - Height isn't too much of an issue, but gorilla growing 😅, so being inconspicuous is a big thing. - LST training isn't an option with the gorilla growing, the netting or whatever would be too obvious 😔. - She gets some light, about 9/10 hrs direct and 5/6 indirect. Hopefully this can put a final decider on what to do 😅. Thanks again guys!

If its not really growing its not really wasting any nutrient. You dont have a whole ton of other leaves, if your plant doesnt want those branches it will suck the nutrients out of them and they will start to die. Thats when I would get rid of them, unless they start growing a regular amount and you dont want those brances.

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Personally i wudnt top an auto strain (have u 4t about lst or supercropping maybe if height is an issue ) but if u do then perhaps u should leave those sites on.. U will see them grow out in few days as energy is redirected.. If ur still unhappy with the progress on them then take um off n again energy will b redirected to other flowering sites.. Hope she turns out well 4 u.. Stay safe n gud luck.. 👍🍀

Asap, those called "suckers" not without reason. Girl will use that energy in better places. You can use cinnamon to prevent infection, apply it to wound.

Is it normal to have different flowering times on occasion within the same strain? I believe yes as I have one that just grew one tall branch. So it focused on flowering sooner as it expended less energy on vegetation. She will be ready to harvest 3-4 weeks sooner than her sis.

I’m at day 18 of Flower and would like some feedback on what’s considered 1/3 of the plant for lollipopping effectively.
