I believe the majority say that pistil formation starts flower. I concur. Even other MJ grow forums agree.

Showing pistils starts the beginning phase of your true sex. At this time, your plant is showing her sex. Which means she is in her pre-flower stage. It is NOT THE BEGINNING OF FLOWERING STAGE. Preflowering stage takes about 2 weeks. This the time you can’t mess up because this the time she will dedicate her next two weeks to push for further vegetation. You will see her growth explode almost half or double it’s size. Once she stops GROWING, that’s when her official FLOWER stage begins.

Disagree with shag. Think when see pistils start growing hairs is when you count the days. Even before the white pre's. This is why my early miss turned out to 16 wks flower instead of 65 days. There's no standerd.

Hi there! I wouldn't start to count just yet. I think that the flowering stage begins fully when you see those small buds starting to form at the end of the growth tips! If shes showing pistils now, then it should'nt take too long now!
