Hey growmie .... I would say yes its time to switch to a 12/12 light schedule most wait until their at least 12 inches then they flip them. Others let them get as big as possible before switching the light cycle. It's really based on space and what you prefer. If you have the room you can give them more time.remember that the plants will stretch two to three times their height and flower so as long as there's enough room between what will be the top of your plants and your light there is no issue. determine that you actually have a lot more room between the max height of your light and what the top of your plant will be after it stretches then let it veg a little longer until you hit that point.
