Don't trust Internet/YouTube "experts". Always plant more seeds than you need and only continue with the strongest ones........life is too short to grow "maybes". Reject all crappy seedlings.........not all seeds make it. Trust your intuition. The best teacher is personal experience. Write down EVERYTHING you do for future reference..........don't rely on/trust your memories. Defoliation unless needed to control extreme humidity is unnecessary. Molasses is BS.........use humic acid, fulvic acid and amino acids to get actual, scientifically proven real results/benefits. Every seed/plant is an unique individual and will require its own specific care routine........no such thing as one system for every plant. Extended darkness before harvest is ghetto science and BS. NEVER grow at 24/0.........ALL plants NEED sleep. Cannabis is not some sort of dainty delicate fern that won't thrive unless onditions are 1000% perfect. Buy the best quality seeds/genetics you can afford............cheap seeds = cheap results...........(they are cheap for a reason!) Love your plants! Treat your plants with respect and dignity, and not as though they are some sort of bud making machines. When things go wrong, ask yourself "what happened to cause this?" and don't try and blame "what ifs". Don't expect to be a master grower after only a few crops........I have been growing for 40 years, still eff up and definitely learn something new every cycle.....you will never know it all and you will never stop making mistakes. Learn how to listen to your plants. There are no short cuts. There are no magic techniques to turn average plants into mega buds. Steady as she goes is far better than forcing/pushing your plants. LST is better than topping in my experience. No plant will ever have 100% perfect leaves, 100% of the time. Feed small amounts often rather than big amounts once in a while. Don't get caught up on tiny, tiny details. If growing indoors, but the best lights you can afford.......buy once, cry once. Cannabis has thrived for Millenia unaided in nature and does not need perfect everything........most often people just want to sell you stuff and cash in on your feelings of inadequecy/fear of missing out. Most important..........ENJOY YOURSELF!

Forgot............. Mycorrhizae are THE wonder ingredient and I would never grow without them..........."Mykos" from Xtreme Gardening is my preferred product, but there are many other brands out there.

Germinate more than you need and only keep the strong ones. It's a waste of time to grow a runt. Hat tip to someone else here..

Got to finger that soil and can't just go by a schedule. Some may need more moisture than others. Don't be afraid to give them a "Dry" day every now and then.

One of the hardest early lessons I had to accept was to treat every single plant as an individual. It seemed illogical that you couldn't take 2 plants, same seed pkt and strain, planted same day, same conditions - that you couldn't feed, water, care for them as a group. Hard to process when you still don't know near enough about how to read their leaf/growth signals. Plus, 2-foot-itis is as bad with grow tents as it is with sail boats 😉

genetics is everything. you can grow in any medium, any mix of lights, fans, tent, and use any nutrients.. it ALL works. but what works for YOU, that is what you have to find out. biggest and most dynamic change anyone could do is get a solid clone cut direct from a passionate breeder. not some hype strain, and dont pay hype prices. if they want more than a couple hundred, at the very most, I would rather dig threw seeds myself or find someone worth it. vetting breeders is super hard, most just sell seeds with zero actual work put into their strains. honestly its a lot of these old school European breeders who have the literal worst genetics ever. not trying to say who has better, but North America has amazing small and passionate breeders. Not the big ones, check out BeLeaf, amazing work and some of his cuts are like 100. not bad. its everything, literally. everything is just a detail. hit me up if you want more info on better breeders, I would absolutely recommend White Clouds Genetics, the breeder Dan is doing great things

Don't let inexperience and the unknown breed paranoia. I've harvested early thinking pollination or rot. I've dug for seeds. Go easy on nutes. NEVER STOP RESEARCHING, EXPERIMENTING, ASKING AND MORE IMPORTANTLY LISTEN. IT NOT BLINDLY. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER /DANK

anyone that uses the word "activates" ... you should immediately know they know nothing of chemistry or biology :P buy from long-standing Ag brands as much as you can... marijuana brands are too often over-priced, half-assed products that neglect to use existing knowledge from parallel uses. e.g. a hydro/soilles nute that isn't ph-buffered... wtf.. total incompetency.

When topping to train apart aways leave a 5-10 mm stub to prevent splitting later.
