Hello! I have two auto plants - gorilla glue and green gelato, 9 weeks from germination, grown outside. It’s my first grow and I don’t know how to distinguish the color of trichomes - crystal, milky or amber? How are these ones? Looks ready or...? Thank you!

hello my brother, i would suggest you to wait a bit more, i would say easily 8 or 9 days, maybe 2 weeks, patience :) Gorilla glue sometimes look premature, i have one actually, she looks ready since 3 weeks already, and i have decided tonight to wait 9 more days. Actually, you will see your buds getting much bigger and a bit denser. good luck my brother

Get a 60x lighted jeweler's loop. Look for that 20-30% amber color on your buds not the sugar leafs. Imo your about 2 weeks or so away from when I'd take it. Start your flush now. Looks great man! Happy Harvesting! 🤟😜

Hello, You look still mostly clear/ milky to me. I can see just a few ambers starting but mainly on the sugar leaves which you don't want to gauge on because they'll get ambers way before a plant is ready. Aim for the ones closest to direct bud sites. But your window is definitely getting ready to open, I'd say only a week+ to go. So if your a flushing person, maybe start that here in the next day or two.👍 And keep taking more close ups every 2 days.

Hey bro! 👋 You can see the color of the trichomes when magnified at x40 or more! Get yourself a mini microscope x40 or x60 and you'll be armed. The price is $10. I photograph the trichomes in my harvest week reports, check them out if you want to see what you need to look for in your own plants. 👌😇👍 Good luck, brother! ✊
