first time trying to lst my girlfriend told me to wire up those stems so new growth on top can grow faster, is this right??

Accidently topped my autoflower, we it survive/rebound?Day 24 in my first ever grow. Mephisto northern cheese haze auto. Did a round of LST/Tucking last night, woke up to a fully broken off top growth of the main stem, effectively topping it(?). Is there anything I can/should do? Will it bounce back or should I start another grow?

Looking for opinions on a try of LST and a thought about taking off big fan leaves from the topHad a shot at LST training one of my girlfriend plants, just wondering opinion from people if it has been done correctly. I met this kid yesterday that said he waters his plants every day and not to LST. My plan was to make the plants grow in a spiral essentially.
I just wanted to hear everyone else’s opinion on this kids statements. He has like 2.5 grows under his belt where I only have .33 grows.
