5. Lack of nutrients If the cannabis bush is completely pale and has red stems, it may simply be lacking in nutrients. This happens especially often when the plants are not transplanted and fed for a long time. When growing in inert substrates such as coconut, try increasing the fertilizer dosage. In a pot made of solid materials, hemp can have a "rooting" effect, which means that it needs to be transplanted into fresh soil.

Red stem can mean a number of things from PH issues, nutrient issues or climate, but as long as the leaves are healthy i over look them. The orange hair could either be due to genetics or burn. I’d say more genetics though.. I wouldn’t worry too much looks good. Nice canopy. Good Luck 💪

6. Micronutrient deficiencies due to incorrect pH level Is the pH too high or too low? If the other reasons do not work, there is a high chance that the red stems are a sign of nutrient deficiency due to pH problems. If the plant has bright red stems (not purple), and this is not due to lighting, it is most likely due to a lack of fertilizer. Cannabis may also show other symptoms: yellowing or curling of leaves, brown, burnt tips. Fortunately, this problem is easy to get rid of. Red stems can be caused by nutrient deficiencies due to too high or too low pH levels.

4. Stress Cannabis reacts to stress in unpredictable ways. It may seem strange, but sometimes the change in the color of the stems is caused by seemingly completely extraneous factors: overflow, insects or heat. This is why it is important to keep a close eye on the plants, water them on time, and maintain favorable conditions. The appearance of red stems can be caused by many stress factors. This plant looks like it is lacking in nutrients, but the real cause is leafhoppers.

3 Changes in temperature Hot days and cold nights can also provoke reddening of stems and leaves. If symptoms appear the day after the frost, it may be caused by a sharp temperature drop. Usually the stems turn purple, but sometimes they take on a reddish tint.

2. Genetics Certain cannabis species (especially those with purple buds or leaves) have colored stems. They are usually purple, but may also be reddish. In this case, all the stems of the plants will be uniformly colored, and not only those places where the light falls. In this case, there is nothing to worry about.

(1) If the stem is exposed to direct rays of bright light, it can turn red, pink, or purple over time. This will keep the shaded parts of the cannabis green. This is a plant's defense mechanism, usually when using lamps that emit strong UV radiation, such as LEC (this kind of lighting also increases the number of trichomes). In addition, popular stem-bare workouts such as manifolding and defoliation may be at the root of the problem. If there are no other symptoms and the cannabis is healthy and growing rapidly, you have nothing to worry about.
