Once the solution is made, do not add pH up/down to correct the pH. Firstly, peat based mixes are buffered for pH so this is not necessary. Secondly, the acid will instantly begin to break down the organic matter in the solution, something that you want to happen naturally in the

This makes absolute 100% sense.. It's why some guys using very neutral ph soil are using phed water. Why some have numerous problems associated with early growing and establishing and thriving healthy root environment. My soil is peat based so generally speaking my water is better to stay ph neutral 7. Then to add ph down... That being said I did just do a feeding of water with Humic Acids to help break down the nutrients and help with intake. But the water would still be relatively Ph neutral with my soil conditions..

p.s. you can't now your future ph before mixing all in, so you need time machine to know how much to add upfront ;)) In time you'll know approx, but really not exact amounts. It varies even from temp.

For me biobizz works great, if you follow theirs dosage always bumps into 6.6 But when i use different amounts or lighter feeding i have to use ph down from time to time. Biobizz have their own up and down, i doubt that they would sell product, which doesn't work in full range. MrGrowit had a video recently on youtube, how to reduce damage, just by diluting in smaller container and only then adding up or down to your feed bucket/tank
