Hello guys! One plant of a friends outdoor grow is looking not so good. On two stems there are spaces without bark, and on one spot is even some mold. Almost looks like someone removed it with a knife. Any diagnosis, tips or other help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Hi Bud, is a stem rot. Sometimes is caused by some kind of bugs but the most is caused by root diseases caused by overwatering/poor drainage. Is possible that the plant will die but an adjustment of watering scheme is the minimum. Also try to clean the brown mold on the stems gently, let the surfaces to dry and apply a pruning sealer. Good luck

The top leaves start to turn yellow and are kinda droopy. Also there are supiciously many dead leaves as you can see. It got an ambulance fertilizing but that is definitely not enough.
