Did I give too much fertilizer??

So I decided to add in some soluble fertilizers. I gave it a 1/4 tsp (50% of recommended dosage) a couple days ago and noticed some yellowing of new growth on the bud sites. Is this a sign of excess potassium and phosphorus? I gave it Fox Farm Open Sesame (5-45-19).

Based off of the information provided and the appearance of internodal chlorosis occurring on new leaves at the growth tips; I would guess the Open Sesame was a little too much Phosphorus and/or Potassium for your girl. She may be a light feeder. There are other factors that could be the cause of the internodal chlorosis; however, assuming that you're monitoring and pH and PPM and adjusting as needed; the Open Sesame Sound like the most likely culprit to me. Good luck and happy growing!

That being said, the discoloration looks pretty minor and otherwise everything looks lush and healthy. Another thought... when I first switched to quantum boards I had some similar discoloration at the tips and ended up downloading a lux meter on my phone and dialed them in using the dimmers. Is it possible they've grown to close to the lights?

Hey friend, So in general your garden looks amazing. I know you've got some slightly discoloring leaves but over all it looks great, healthy and full. I've used fox farm for several years now and always been satisfied, but when i used open sesame, beastie blooms etc i had to go careful...only once every 2 weeks or so. I had one question...this week you're running high nutrients, about 4 times what the fox farm schedule recommends, which is ok cause it seems to be working for you and some plants are hungry strains, however last week you don't have "grow big" in the nutrient line, is that a mistake or did you add that back in this week? If you did remove it, i think maybe the combination of the high grow big added back in combined with the very strong open sesame is the cause for the slight burn. Some of the leaves did look dark green which can sometimes show high nitrogen levels. If you're using other nutrients with the open sesame you might want to just use 1/8th tsp per gallon, and then the grow big i would bring down to 2-3 tsp per gallon versus the 8 tsp per gallon, before dropping it off entirely here in another couple weeks.👍
