Rusty spots on fan leaves overnight, what is it? ️

Last night I used some old but clean looking wire to bring branches in to the main stems. This morning there's now little orange rusty spots everywhere. Is a soil grow, 6.3 pH used and same run off with Cal Mag every other feed. Taken the wire of at 6am in anger, was it that? 😡

If you're sure it's not a calmag deficiency, I would say that you probably have critters like thrips. If you're using a booster, P and K toxicity is also probable. Wish I could narrow it down more for you.

I am experiencing similar issues on a couple of plants in my garden. This is my first go with Quantum Boards and I did read many reports that QB grown plants tend to use more cal/mag. I was adding a couple extra TSP per 15 gal res fill but still noticed it occurring. It doesn't seem to be progressing or spreading quickly and I am going into flush soon, so I am not too worried about it. Another thing I considered was my feeding schedule. I think the QB's don't dry the medium out quite as quick as with HID or COB LED's (which are what I have previous experience flowering with) and I think I may not have been letting them completely dry between waterings. Sorry I don't have the answer, but I hope sharing my experience and thoughts on the matter may help you find a resolution! Cheers and happy growing!
