Are CBD-Strains less nutrient-hungry?

Hey Guys, i experienced that these strains like a lower EC/TDS. Every time i went over 1.2 EC (600ppm TDS) they showed signs of over-nutrition, like very dark green leaves and reddish brown leavetips. What are your thoughts on this? Are CBD-Strains less hungry on nutrients?

Each plant from seed is different. Some needs more food, some less.
Autos tend to need less, but i had heavy feeders too.
Just adjust, its your as growers duty to react to different conditions.

I gave an N boost to both plants but the one I haven't being using LST on is presenting an issue on the leaves, they are turning dark green on the inside, wondering if it's the true healthy color or is a sign of excess N. There are more photos in the journal Thank you

dark, curled downwards and brown fan leavesWhy are the fan leaves dark, curled downwards and showing brown marks originating from the edges? Had an issue of dark and curled leaves for a week or 2, did think it was getting better (N2 deficiency) but now suddenly after not watering for a day the leaves are going brown.
