Drooping leaves, brittle

Some leaves on the bottom turning yellow so we suspected a nitrogen deficiency; gave them nutrients two days in a row but seen no improvement, then suspected maybe we had overwatered so have left them >24 hours to dry out but still no improvement on the leaves situation? TIA

Hello So this drooping is definitely a bit more than you want to see happening. If the yellowing leaves pull off easily it usually is nitrogen deficiency. But with the drooping leaves if you aren't seeing them perk up after being watered you can usually eliminate under watering. However an overwatered plant can also do this droop...along with root problems like rot or root bound. If you aren't seeing any change from either letting dry or from watering i would consider the root problems. First when you water is the whole pot soaked or could there be some dry pockets? This can happen and cause problems (i was bad about giving my plants just enough water, versus soaking thoroughly and my plants suffered). You can try watering with a hydrogen peroxide water to increase oxygen and kill any bad bacteria, but you would want to water with a good bacteria product afterwards, some sort of living organisms, hydroguard, root shield etc. And double check that your ph and the runoff water are in the right zone. And then watch for positive changes over a couple days. *if you don't normally check and monitor the ph...i would suggest doing that. Even with these "ph perfect" products I've had some grows go perfect and others that went horribly off from not monitoring the ph occasionally. Happy growing and good luck to you guys.✌️

You need a reset. Flush, wait for it to dry, then begin your regular feeding schedule. Your drooping problem is only a problem if it droops all day. If its drooping 1 or 2 hours before darkness, that's just its circadian rhythm.

Hey friend. If you hit them with a double dose of ferts and you already had enough in the soil then you are going to run into more problems. Especially when in doubt you should check your runoff ph and ec levels. The droop you have is from keeping the medium to wet but with a double dose now instead of just root rot starting you will create other elements from being available to your girl. I hate to say what you need to do because waiting for the soil to dry with real high ec in there may make things worse now., and flushing now may be detrimental as well. Luck friend Cheers
