That little something that sprouted is probably a weed seed that germinated. As for defoliation, 10 people will give you 10 different answers, best advice is to try it yourself and see if it works for you. What I think you should be worrying about is that dark green color in the foliage, meaning too much nitrogen.

'lolipopping' or removing the lower leaves is very useful when you have a full canopy and not much light can reach the lower bud sites, If you just have the one relatively small plant (an auto?) it might not be necessary. For future this should Ideally be done no later than a week after flipping as you are wounding the plant it has to direct some of its energy into repairing itself when you want its full focus on flower development. Peace HP

If your going to defoliate or lollipop her now is the time to do it. You don't want to do anything to her after week 3 of flower. I do it all the time because the leaves eventually won't receive enough light as the gets taller and they'll die off. Hopefully I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

I'd pull the growth tips off the bottom 1/3 to 1/2 of the plant (but not the leaves), they just become larf. And I'd transplant that little sprout, surprises can be fun! Good luck on your grow!

Depends. If you want more product for making concentrates, then don't. If you're focused on just the bud, then you should, it will slightly increase yield and potency. That surprise fella might be connected to the same root system as the main one. I would be concerned to move it, but I doubt you'll will hurt the main plant too badly.
