Hello, I've got white pistons coming out of the top of the plant so does this mean it is a female, also does this mean it is flowering?

Staggered harvests?Two main tops and a several smaller buds deeper in the plant that are not as far along in the flowering stage as the other six main tops. Tips for fighting sciarid gnats?One of my plants became the victim of some sciarid gnats.
As you can see in the pictures,
I secured the soil, of all plants, so the sciarid gnats are not longer able to breed there.
