What is causing the buds to corkscrew?

1st time grower, curious as to why the bud is forming like this. Is it genetics or me moving the plant to much? The buds on this plant are just not as uniform as the 2nd plant.

that would be genetics, or strain, i have had a few to do that but still smoked good, they look good man with or with out cork screw

Trichomes and time to harvestDid check on trichomes in week 12 (7 flower). Distribution was something like 0% amber,10% milky, 40% cloudy, 30% slightly cloudy, 20% clear. Do Trichomes hold all the medicine and terpines etc that will be producedAre all terpines, thc, cbd, etc.. in the trichomes and no where else? Took dying plants outside, 6 hrs later, Fixed. Leave em outside now? last ones got moldy from hi heat and humidity, can i bring them inside at night maybe?2 wedding cakes looked over watered,generaly sickly looking. Put them out in the 90 degree sun and 60% humidity and they came totally back to life in 6 hours. What does this mean?
