What is causing the buds to corkscrew?

1st time grower, curious as to why the bud is forming like this. Is it genetics or me moving the plant to much? The buds on this plant are just not as uniform as the 2nd plant.

that would be genetics, or strain, i have had a few to do that but still smoked good, they look good man with or with out cork screw

Budrot on previosly repaired broken branch, next steps?I snapped a branch about a week ago. Today i did a close inspection and spotted bud rot at its top site, so i removed the branch and inspected the rest of the bud sites on the plant. It doesnt seem to have spread. Yellowing Budsights Early Fower (organic grow)I fed the plants yesterday and noticed that it was too warm in the tent. (86F)
So I change the light time to 9pm-9am.
As a result, the plants had 24 hours of darkness in the tent.
When I turned on the light today I noticed that some of the buds had yellowed.
