So how do you keep smells down? I'm getting ready to plastic the basement windows and there is only smells in the basement but if your in my driveway you can definitely catch a wiff if the wind blows the right way. It may be legal but there's no reason to draw attention either.

You'll need an inline fan and a carbon filter. Ideally you can fit it in the basement window by replacing the window with cardboard and cutting out a circle to match your fan. Otherwise, make a makeshift tent inside of your basement and do the same thing. The carbon filter kills the smells and the fan replaces the air by blowing air out and new air draws in through any space available. There are other options you can look into but they are bound to be expensive.

well chevron has the right idea, but i'd opt for something more substantial then cardboard, like some plywood, so someone doesn't just push in your window and take some samples I've haven't done it yet, because i didn't know and got a tent in my bedroom lol, so idk how feasible it is, but if possible and if circumstances allow, ive heard that "carbon filters" fuck with your end product and terpene by creating some kinda terpene deficit from the negative pressure, it sucks the smell and taste right out of the plants? this was from DGC(dude grows channel) youtube videos What they suggest was exhausting your tent to your room, in my case my bedroom, and then filtering and exhausting my room with a filter, So while i enjoy the idea of sleeping in the dank smell of flowering buds, i also don't know if i want to, and kinda iffy about breathing in partially filtered tent air, with soil, maybe molds and Vermiculite(contains asbestos) and volcanic glass shards( perlite) silicia I do use some furnace vent filters to get out some bigger particles main thing stopping me tbh, is the outward facing ports I got a roof over it to deflect the rain, and i'd have to totally redesign and i don't want a 4ft filter sticking out the window like you said even if its legal don't wanna be advertising.
