hi can anyone tell me if I can harvest to top half of the plant which seems ready, but the bottom has its of buds but they're not ready? its my first grow so never harvested before. Im flushing atm, I have no idea how to cut where to cut how long and how to dry?? help pls xxxxx

You might want to look at a website called GrowWeedEasy they have some very good tutorials on how to harvest and dry/cure your weed .

Dear Angypangy,
If you can take the magnified (50x or more) pictures of the trichome, you can guess the best harvest time for your plants.
Secondly, please don't cut the top of each branch. If the top is ready, probably the bottom is ready, too. Just make sure that you cut off the whole branch and hang it upside-down. You can leave the rest of the branches to grow a bit more. Check my AK47 Diary for harvesting pictures.
P.S.: When the harvest window opens, you will get different effects from the same plant depending on when you harvest. You can check "trichome-method" on many websites to decide on what. In short, if you harvest early, you will have more euphoric effects (with less THC) and if you wait a bit more you will get max THC (all milky trichomes) without any euphoria. When you harvest at the end of harvest window (amber trichomes) this will mean that some of the THC are turning into CBD which will get you more relaxing-anti anxiety effects (by an exchange of some THC.)
Suggestion: As this is your first growth, try to harvest the plant at different times during this Harvest Window and choose which one you liked most and then you can decide by yourself. (Check on my AK47 Glorious growth. As my friend loves more energetic-euphoric effect, I harvest this strain early. If I waited a bit more, probably I would get 20gr more but it is your preference :)

Puntas de las hojas amarillas, otras en garra y otras quemadas, que puede ser? Las plantas están en la 5ta semanita de crecimiento y ya pase a 12/12!!Ayer regué mis plantas con los fertilizantes grotek colocando exactamente lo que me muestra la tabla en crecimiento y hoy mis plantas amanecieron así, no sé si es por el calefactor que tiene en el medio o por el monster grow que aporta demasiado nitrógeno. He visto un vídeo donde hablan de defoliación y poda de bajo luego de pasar las plantas a 12/12, he leido que una vez se coloca las plantas a florecer nono debería; ahora mismo tengo unas plantas que llevan 5 días que las pase a 12/12 y tengo debajo de la malla unas ramas que no llevan luz y en la parte de arriba unas hojas muy grandes que paran el paso de la luz, puedo defoliar y hacer poda de bajos al 7mo dia?
