First time in flowering stage. I am running a hydroponics system.I have two ladies in flowering and I haven't given my plant any silica up to this point. Is this a mistake? If so, is it too late for the benefits of it? I have heard mixed results. Thanks

Not really a mistake because silica isn't needed, but it is beneficial in many ways. I started silica in flower when I introduced it into my feed schedule.. did I notice a difference? Hard to tell. I stop using it mid-late flower now mainly because I don't want to wait the 15 minutes for the silica to sit before mixing the other nutrients... it cuts my res change times drastically. Read the instructions on the bottle of how to use itand you will be golden. Good luck.

Why does coco nutes often only have one A B blend, instead of 2 seperate Veg and Bloom blends?I personally use Plagron nutes in coco, hence I use the same A+B bottles for veg and flower. When looking at nutes for soil they have the 2 different bottles for veg vs bloom. So my question here is why does it seem like some coco lines(plagron, canna) only have 1 over both?

Water Hardness Gives little room for nutes, replacing it with distilled = way more nutes?My tap water is at 700EC (very hard), and I add nutes normally until around 1000EC, which gives little room for nutes, if I replace with distilled water, can I go up to 1000EC with it ? What's the proper way to measure ph?When checking ph levels, is it supposed to be done before or after you put the nutrients in the water? Or both? I'm using Dasani bottled water and it has a ph of around 6.8. After I add .8ml of both Humboldt's Secret parts A&B, the ph drops all the way down to like 3.6-3.8. Help!

TDS education needed please x Hi gang. Have a query around TDS. My girls have had their second nute feed today (using alternating method) of GH products at 50% conc. The TDS of the mix (PH 6.3) was 500 and fed enough to gain around 10% runoff. This tested at 702. Acceptable or not? More nutes next time? Thx x

How do you know a plant needs PK ?Last time I gave them 7ml of Pk 5-8 (7L pots) and I burned them. Probably the water already had too many nutrients (mineral water + osmosis water). How do you know if they need this extra Pk or not ? Is there any sign ? Thx !

Adjusting PH issue Using a Blue Labs PH pen and PH+/PH- but instead of just a few drops of PH-, it's taking almost 3 full plastic droppers to get correct PH of 6.2. Our tap water is in a 5 gallon bucket left out for 24+ hours to dissipate the chlorine. The tap water is usually 7.2 PH. 😶need advice
