Hello Growers, I would like to have your input on Terpene production, how do you get the most out of your grow, is it a growing & harvesting method that you prefer or do you just choose specific strains known for there terp profile.

happy healthy plant maximizes growth, including that stuff.
So, i'd key in on avoiding evaporating those with lower thresholds for boiling. Some are lost in as little as upper 70s F, if not mistaken (25-26 C?). Controlling the environment, in addition to optimal growing, would be the best bet to maximizing terps.
rates of changes... slowing down the loss as best you can (ambient environment) and increasing produciton as best you can (ambient environment + nutes + light etc)... these things may not always point in same direction, as the plant grows better at times with warmer temps, so there may be some give -and-take as far as what is 'best' for this... so many factors to consider!

I think there is many factors involved with this one, it's definitely a complicated process getting right down to the science of it all, it makes me realize that I still have lots to learn.

Hello. To improve taste and smell I find friendly fungi and microbes help immensely. Leaving a good amount of fan leaves on through flowering to help with energy needs. I find a dark period before harvest helps with taste and type of high. I play music to my plants. I think it helps them relax and enjoy themselves. And of course curing brings all the things you do to help the plant out. together. Good Luck. Chuck.

There are products... Rezin and Terpinator and they work when used properly.. Getting terps to be pronounced is like an Art-Form..

Hey Danksi!
I like to use THC strains the odd time however primarily use CBD dominant strains to treat depression which is very anxiety based. Strains that hit me with a "wow, I need to keep this strain" I often find have limonene in them. According to your chart it help[s with anxiety and I have seen this terp in a lot of more expensive/premium CBD flowers. Could be a coincidence though hahah.
I seem to be hooked on Gorilla CBD by Dinafem, I think the most important part to preserving the terps is making sure you dry and cure correctly.
