Hey Growmie, I am seeing the milky your talking about but you're also right about it having more time to go you can tell because most of the pistils are still white you want to wait until 70-90% of them are no longer white, I'd say you have about 3 weeks left maybe less. You do want to let the soil dry out before harvesting and them being in the dark before harvest won't be a problem but when they are drying they have to be in a dark space there's no way around that. Some people do test their buds before harvest you'll just need to cut a piece off let it dry and then smoke it up.
