Hey! What happens if the drying takes 3/4 days but the curing goes well? Is there any hope?

It's dry when it's dried. We are about to have a heat wave and I don't expect to get anything like a week before mines dry. So long as its cured properly it will still be fine, you may have to cure it a little longer that's all.

you can tell by texture... if it dies to fast you will fell a difference. i'm not saying that's the exact line in the sand when it is "too fast" but it's at least close. go fast dry something and try to break it up... you'll feel exactly what i mean. toss some in an oven or something lol. set on top pof a radiator or audio equipment.... 3/4 days sould be okay. better to find a way to extend that. often times ppl don't realize it needs another 24 hours when it 'feels' right on outside, anyway. i'm not a fan of 'sweating' in jars.. that's just a breeding ground for anaerobic bacteria. slow dries down by leaving more of the plant together... even hang entire plant instead of pruning anything off. i do different things because i have 4 seasons... sometimes humid and hot, sometimes cold and dry. in winter i'm drying entire limbs or entire plants to slow it down as best i can... last couple harvests got about 7 days in a suboptimal environment. get a boveda 59-62% and call it a day once ready for curing/burping for o2 exchange if sealed etc.
