Hello, I have a question about PH when grow in hydroponic with Dwc, how often check PH level, because I leveled it to 6.0 like 2 days ago, and today PH was 7,1. Is it normal that pH is increasing so fast? Thank You, all.

I check it almost everyday. I only make adjustments if it is out of range (5.6-6.1 veg) (5.7.-6.3 flower), or it has been at the higher or lower limits for a couple days. It is normal for the PH to rise after a reservoir change and in veg. You will probably get PH drops in flower. Unless you get an expensive PH meter, I don't trust them 100%. It is less important to be at 1 PH number (i.e. 5.8), but within a range. Good luck!

Hi I check mine every 3 days. I did have a similar situation during week 2 where the PH went up, I believe when I did my first feed the water PH increased. I'm in week 5 and the PH levels seem to be remaining steady. There are feed solutions that will balance the PH with your feeds. I'm considering trying those brands out on my next grow. I agree with MangoDudu on ensuring the calibration is correct before making any PH adjustments. 😎

Usually in dwc people puts a fixed ph meter in the water reserve to always keep the ph under control. Ph can change because the plants are eating nutrients and they can be heavy acid or basics. Or you ph regulator is shit. Make sure to calibrate the instruments and to put the ph probe under maintence solution to preserv the selectively breathable membrane that is very easy to damage and get wrong readings. Hope to helps you and that my english will be clear enough to you 💪🏼✌️🏽
