To the hydro aero growers, do you adjust the pH right at the beginning when you make a new nutrient solution? Or only at the end when everything is well mixed?

High Aeronaut, You ALWAYS mix the nutrients before you adjust the pH. The reason for this is that nutrients are changing the pH from the water already so you have to mix them with the water before you measure and adjust pH. Happy Growing! 😋

@Aeronaut I use silica so do it a bit different I add the silica first adjust the ph to 5.7 then I add each other nutrient or additive followed by rechecking the ph which usually hasn't moved from the original setting of 5.7

You mix up nutes completely- then adjust your pH to where you want it. I shoot for 5.7-5.9 in Veg and 5.8-6.1 in flower
