The ultimate goal of training is to create an even canopy. Bend branches as needed to keep everything as even as possible. You can keep doing this until about 10 days into flower, after that time the plant starts putting all its energy into bud production. She looks pretty good, happy growing.

Best to not have leaves touching the soil. Bending is up to you how long you want your main stalk. You can use weights and tie it outside the planter as far as you want., but then it may need to be tied above to something or the weight of the buds may break her down.

I have a 1200W Veg/Bloom LED which is currently 20" above Martha. I am also LSTing her and am getting good solid growth from the lowest branches which are working to reach up. I am wondering if raising the light 4-6" and try to stimulate some vertical growth. Is this a good idea?
