GMSgrowsanswered grow question 4 years ago I have always set my lights like a normal day, growing conditions. I plant my seed pointy end up 1/4 inch down. Lights on set at 18 hours. With soil it can be a little to hot for babies though, meaning to much nutrients. So I always start my girls in a small planter in nutramix hp and feed at 400 ppm 0.8 ec the third day after they sprout. I give them a week to get some nice roots, then I will transplant into the hot soil. They transition very easy when their ready to start feeding on the nutes. You may want to sprinkle a little cinnamon around your babies when they pop to avoid any damping off. Cheers
