Heating my tent

The heat mats I don’t think will put out enough heat although the root zone temps will be good the temp in the room will not be. Maybe a thermostatic oil filled radiator will be a good choice? You could use one of these controllers linked below to help control things, plug the extractor in to it so it turns off when temps drop. Or use a decent fan controller so the power drops to a slow idle and use the heating input for the bar heater or other type of heater. I have one although have not used it yet. That’s guys. I thought it may be one for the Canadians among us 👍🏻 Esoteric_growing With growing I’ve learned to plan ahead. Temps could drop considerably to single digits over the next couple of months so I’d like a contingency plan. I like the idea of heat mats as they don’t take up any room but the tube heaters would also work if I lay my fabric pots either side. Hummmmm what to do, what to do 😵

During lights on I think you will be ok just using a fan controller to reduce the exhaust fan, lights off I have got away with just using a cheap tube heater on a timer with similar or slightly lower temps than yours. Run your 6 hours sleep during the warmest period of the day normally 11-5 or 12-6 and when you flip to 12/12 run your 12 hours of light at night and have them sleep during the day. Hey I use a small portable heater in my temps for the winter. I have mine in my garage and it’s not heated for the winter and my temps inside the tent stay around 20 Celsius Happy growing
