Nursestarted grow question 4 years ago
RQS suggested this wet/dry for Auto.that's okay?for irrigation, when he said 1.5 liters for each day, that means I have to water the plants every day? or is it better to have 4.5 water once every 3 days? And that the amount of irrigation he suggested for 11L pot is not too much?

You are not growing in coco, playgron is peat based. Peat drains well, but it holds water well also. Lift the pot when it is dry, it will be very light, then water until you get 20% runoff and lift the pot again: it will weigh much more. Now don't water again until the pot is back to feeling light. The frequency of how long it takes to dry out will get shorter as the plant gets bigger, until you are watering almost daily. Stick with the wet/dry cycle and you will never have problems with too much or too little water. Happy growing my friend.

Thank you very much friends. What do you think about the temperature and humidity that are highlighted in the photo for each week?

Wet/dry only for soil, not coco! I don’t understand why you should follow someone else indication on how much water to give your plant. Environment can have a great effect on how much water is needed, do you have the same conditions RQS had when measured how much water they gave? You can’t have 100% control on your plant, you have to adapt to its needs. Try to estimate how much water is needed is an unnecessary complication of something simple
