Only way to find out for sure is to get a pocket microscope and check how the trichomes are looking. If they are clear, your bud contains mostly non-psychoactive cannabis precursors. If they are all milky, you will already get pretty stoned. Recommended harvest time is when 10-30% of the trichomes are amber.

Start flushing if you haven't already started and harvest in a week and a half to 2 weeks from now.

Ready to chop? Ambering trichs on a couple of colas but not on others...Does the Council of Wise Growers feel ready to call "chop" on my 86 day from germination Purple Chill Auto? Some colas have nice ambering (see close up of trichs) and others not. Sugar leaves haven't started dying. Last time I ran this pheno went 91 days (see diary).

Wet trim and get the kief?Is it worth it to pause the drying process and wet trim?
I am mostly asking this since I read it's easier to wet trim and I can hopefully extract some kief from the sugar leaves with a grinder in the process.
What are your thoughts, leave it as is, or get that kief?

What to do with smaller flowers during drying vs larger colas? And how do you get large colas in jars? I assume I have to trim them too smaller size right?Ok so drying on day 3/4 now and still too moist i can tell. But my rhetorical question is obviously the smaller buds will dry faster than the bigger and main colas right? Do I need to start jaring the smaller flowers then work to the bigger ones? Would it be ok to dry for 2 weeks without any trim?My grow is taking longer than expected and life is getting in the way. I will not be able to harvest personally so when the time comes my friend will chop the plants and hang them in the tent. How much Hydrogen Peroxide to use in harvest washI wash cut branches in a water with hydrogen peroxide blend at about a tablespoon per gallon at harvest. Then hang to dry outside till dry to the touch then moved to the drying room before moving to the wine cellar for curing. How much HP do others use? Is this enough?Week 11

Best Time to Use a Trim BowlLooking for advice on when to use my trim bowl? Wet/as part of harvest? Dry/after drying on stems fir a couple weeks? Last year I used it wet/part of harvest - felt like I lost a lot of resin to the trimmer.
