hey there, unfortunately , it's absolutely true, growing is 50% of the quality, other other 50% is the slow drying process. Keep it simple : take a clean cardboard box put some string through it to hang the weed, then hang the weed there, close the box, keep it cool and stable in your living room from 10 days or 2 weeks, and then it should be perfect for the jar. keep it in a jar , try to get some boveda. Have a small jar for the weed to smoke and keep the weed to store in the jar with the boveda humidifier. Welcome to the home grown fire smoke growmie ! Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Lovely pics!!..yes thst is correct.. U can grow THE best herb known to us all but if u put it in a jar wet give it a few days-week n it'll b completely ruined and even very carcinogenic.. U dont wana b smoking mould!!.. Its a bery simple method tho.. As with growing her it take a bit of time to dry snd cure her correctly.. Hang her branches to dry in a dark area /room thats about 18°c until ur buds are dry on the outside and thier stems snap/crack.. Cut the buds of the stems and place in jars with lids on.. This is the important part-every day for the first wk go bk to ur jars and open them, turn ur herb so to grt fresh air in the jar and any moisture out.. Leave jars open for a fee minutes.. Then close the lids and place bk into darkness in cool(not near heat sources) area/wardrobe in ur home.. Do this for a few wks and ur weed will b top quality.. In Amsterdam the shops are known to cure the weed for upto 5 months in sum café.. Take ur time with it but if flushed well it will smoke great still after 10 days harvest (sum buds will b smokable! ).. Stay safe n gud luck.. 🍀

Hi mate and congratulations! 🔥🔥🌲🌲🌲 💪 If you harvest the whole tent at one time I suggest that you cut the main stems and hang all the girls upside down from a string in the tent and you adjust the fans in the tent to circle air around but preferably not directly on the buds 'cos this will might make them to dry too quick and shut the lights ofc. (Light will degrade THC and terpenes btw.) Trimming wet/dry is up to every ones personal preference, but if you leave all the leafs to dry for this way you can add 1-3 days drying time and it would benefit you in the long run. Some folks just say that dry trimming is pain in the ass to do but everyone has their own likings in stuff. Taken from a Riley Reid's book "Growing Elite Marijuana" Optimal Drying Environment: dark cool drying environment is critical. ANY light that touches your buds will at once begin to degrade it's THC content. In order to ensure optimum drying results, you are going to have to keep the temperature and humidity within a certain range for optimal results. Conditions should remain somewhere between the following ideal ranges;Temperature: between 65-76°F (18.3 to 24.4°C). Humidity: between 45%-55%. If the temperatures lower more than 65°F (18.3°C) the drying time will be lengthened. At temperatures higher than 75°F (23.8°C), the heat will cause the other portion of the bud to dry quicker than the inner part and as a result the taste will suffer. At a humidity lower than 45% the marijuana will dry way too fast and the taste will suffer. If the humidity rises higher than 55%, the marijuana will take a longtime to dry and will be prone to mold

Hi first of all beautiful plant 😍🙏🏻. on the subject of harvest: Look with a microscope 👌If the trichome heads are about 70% milky and 30% clear, you can start with the flush. If the trichomes are about 70% milky and 30% amber, it is a very good time to harvest 👍🙏🏻 but do not pay attention to the leaves of the trichomes on the buds 👍 on the subject of drying / fermentation : After harvesting, dry the buds at approx. 58% - 62% humidity, and a temperature of 19 - 21 celcius. After about 7 - 12 days, before the stalks crack, the buds come in glasses, not in plastic bags. The best thing to put in the glass is a Boveda moisture pack with 62%. The first 2 weeks, put it out for 5 minutes every day, back into the glass but not pressed but rather loosely, and back into the dark :-) No light should come on. After another 2-3 months you can put the Boveda Pack 58% moist in the glass, and from now on enjoy the delicious harvest 🙏🏻😍
