Crazy PH drop and High EC

So I mixed a ½ gal solution but adjusted it by adding water to ⅔ gal to bring down the initial EC/ppm testing at around 1400/700. I ph to 5.8 and fed, the runoff was shy of 20% testing at PH 2.65 EC 3940 ppm 1970 Why and how to fix?

Overfeeding. Flush with regular, ph'd water until the runoff is where you want it. With your pH so low, I would run 7-7.5pH until its back where you want. When you overfeed, the plant takes up water and leaves the nutrients. Most nutrients are acidic so your runoff becomes low pH and high EC.

Hello Jfmart420, the water runoff pH should not differentiate more than +/-0.5pH from the initial pH water. The ppm value for vegetative phase should be around 450-700. Make sure that the initial pH value is around 6.2-6.5pH and also lower the nutrient concentration a bit. Good luck with your project, I wish you all the best! 👽
