Hi all, I heard LH were getting quite tall during flowering. My tent is 120cm in height... When do you think I should start flowering? They are now 4 weeks old. Thanks & happy growing

Hi there,In your diary, your plant current height is about 20cm and your pot might almost the same height as the plant or may be around 30cm I guess. And again your light distance is 40cm from plant ( I don’t think you can lower more than 30cm ).So after those calculations, you only left 30~50cm for flowering stretch.Mostly plants are stretching about two to three times of the current height once they are switched to flowering circle. As you are growing sativa strain, it can go up to 90cm or even more without training. So For a 120cm grow tent, you shouldn’t go more than 30cm or stay on vegetative stage for about 8weeks if she is not reaching to 30cm yet.Continue on your training to stay as short as possible. If you can’t control, don’t worry you can perform some HST by breaking the tallest branch 90degree and give some more time to recover before switching to flowering circle.Happy growing... ✌️

Hi! I'm growing this same strain atm and I was surprised how much she stretched. She was maybe ~30cm tall at 7 weeks of veg and it got way over 1m tall during stretch so i had to supercrop two main stems and they still continued to grow sideways for some time. You can start to plan flowering now and keep training her sideways the first week or two to avoid too much vertical grwoth, and don't be afraid to supercrop if needed. They can handle quite a lot of training!
