drakkonanswered grow question 1mo ago I’d wait especially if the buds are still swelling and packing on size. I do see a few amber trichomes, but they’re not spread uniformly all over the place. The amber ones I do see look like they could be in positions where they’ve been touched or otherwise disturbed.
If you ever touch the buds intentionally to move, inspect or smell them, or if you bump them when reaching for other areas such as during pruning or defoliation, the trichomes that get disturbed tend to turn amber. This is especially true for the sugar leaves protruding from buds.
If that describes your situation or practices, the amber trichomes in your pictures may be simply due to localized handling. Try looking for a bud (not a sugar leaf), or portion thereof, to examine that is out of the way and pristine. That may give you a clearer assessment.
