Help with Drying/Curing and total smell change

Add some butter on the buds. It will smell like breakfast... Just keeding. Do a long cure. Burp it every day for a week or two. Then burp it every 3-4 days for a week. Then 1onve a week. And let it cure for another month. Cure it 6-8 weeks. Iys a bitch but will small what iy will smell afterward. Personnly dryinh fir less the 7 days is too fast would have defoliate and left triming for dry. Wait a 4-5days trim the bigesst sugger leaf. Wait again another. 3-4 days trim the rest. I removes moisture slowly this way you know when there is a snap there is also humidity and the curing will work...

What is happening is the moisture on the inside of the buds is coming to the surface, burping frequently releases that moisture, although if buds feel wet, they need to be spread out and left to dry for a bit, then put back in jars. You don't want the jar humidity to ever be above 65%, with 58-62 being ideal for curing. Finally, you can't judge the smell until a proper cure has been done (one month is preferable). Keep the humidity under control and the flavor and smell will develop over time. Happy growing.

To add to this, Humidity is flying up in the jars like it was never dried but they appeared well dry at the time of going in. Have tried overnight in a box/brown paper bag in a room at 50% humidity and they were dry feeling on the outside, went into jar again and still feel dry-ish, maybe a bit spongy but humidity flying up into the 70's again. Any ideas? Will the toast like smell leave? Her indoors thinks its just a smell of weed but I dont know if I got a bit tolerant of the smell with growing but all I can smell is this burnt toast like smell!!! The Dry trimmed Cookies Kush does not have the same problem...bit sticky in the jars but humidity a bit more sensibe (1 jar stays 62-64..the other 2 will random fluctuate up to 67-68 and come down again with a burp for a bit!
