From what I know about "Dr. Earth" dry fertilizer is that top dressing with proper irrigation will cause the fertilizer to break down in about 3-4 weeks
Use 2 Tablespoons for every gallon of medium, and try looking into compost tea to use together with the dry amendments!

After the first watering it will start to become available. Just make sure to water heavy that first time! We use Happy Frog Fruit and Flower which is about the same thing! š¤š¤
