Hello, can someone teach me about runoff EC& PH ? If I put in a correct ph and Ec, would a healthy plant have runoff of same, lower, or higher amount than the feed measurement? What is a healthy ph outflow for soil& coco?

In a perfect world, EC and pH in runoff would be the same as your feed. This means she's taking in equal parts water to nutrients. If your runoff EC is higher, then you're probably overfeeding. Shes taking in more water than nutes. If your runoff EC is lower, then you're probably underfeeding. Shes taking in a higher ratio of nutrients to water. pH determines what nutrients the plant can absorb, so if your pH is off, it will affect your EC. When you get your EC balanced, your pH should remain balanced too. 5.5 pH - 6.2 pH in hydro/coco. Lower end for veg and high end for flower. 5.8-6.5 in soil, I believe.

Growing in soil EC will just confuse you its not really useful. EC is important in hydro where no buffer exists as you have in soil. Water evaporates out of any pot as the water is reduced the concentration , EC, goes UP not down. Even as the plant is using nuets it leaves behind the salts. Now EC is kind of useful if you want to see where your feeds are in case of problems like nuet burn. Runoff PH can be useful but for it to be you have to be checking it regularly as an indicator of change in the pot. Soil PH ideally in the 6.5-ish range thats center of the range. Hydro meh depends 5.8-6.0 THats it for soil,
