What way can I get the ppm down in the nutrient water i’m feeding my plant? It’s high as soon as I add the smallest bit of nutrient. I feed spring still water with GHE trio. I’m in week 5 and i’m above 1000ppm no matter what I do.

Oh is this your runoff? I think I misunderstood. If so I wouldnt worry about it. I tested my runoff and it was 8000. I figured that my PPM pen is having issues because it has ran through the soil. My plant is perfectly healthy just like yours. I actually posted a question about it myself. I figured it was because it wasnt a super expensive one it wouldnt read it properly. If you're feeling a little uncomfortable with it, run double your usual watering amount through. So say you water 1L, water 2L. Run 1L plain PH water through. Then run 1L of your nute mix through. It will get rid of any built up salts etc. I did it with mine, my PPM is still super high though. I'm certain it's down to my TDS tester. I think you will be having the same issue. If not running the plain water through should resolve it 🙂

It is runoff water indeed. I should have said that. The plant sits in 80% coco and 20% perlite. I feed her every 2-3 days with nutes water. I guess I can replace one with water without nutes every other watering if that helps.

High. If you have been feeding with every watering you may have a build up in the soil. With soil you want to probably water at least once inbetween feeds. I go feed water water feed. Also I would make sure you get 20% run off. When you collect the run off the 1st amount would be quite high and then would get weaker. Say you collect 300ml run off. The 1st 100ml will have a higher ec/ppm then the last 100ml.

I may have misunderstood but if you are mixing your nutes in that glass you're going to need more water. If you mix in a bigger container you will have more control over what you're adding. Alternatively you can use the nutes you've added into that glass as a diluted nutrient solution. So get another glass of water and mix it with what's in your current glass. Hope this helps 🙂
