Look at mine. I did not cut them cuz there might not be even a difference with final crop, but topping can apparently cause growing stuck and you will be significantly limited in yield. I prefer faster natural development and happy with my crop regarding finest nutrients.

I’m growing 4 NL x BC Big Bud...1 I’ve topped, 2 LST, Ponytail, lollipop...last one LST,HST as well as ponytail and lollipop. Last few weeks of flower good amount of defoliation as well...They don’t mess with autos not enough time to recover if stunted...oh well trying new techniques..check them out..happy growing.

but this will probably add a few more days to vegetation phase because the plant will need some time to recover and it is an auto, she decides when to flower, just do it and lay back for a few days and watch it. It'll turn its head to the light overnight and be in full force in 3-4 days.

Try HST. Simply put pressure to the upper and thinner part of the main stem with your fingers, twist it gently for half a minute, you'll feel the inner muscles of the stem will loosen and it will eventually be able to bend. Tie it to the lower part of the main stem and get a horizontal shape. It'll make lower branches to grow up to the light and provide better nutrient uptake. You'll see a knuckle right on where you break it, it'll strenghten the stem.
