Growing hydro will not necessarily mean faster autos, the times they give for finishing are pure fairy tales. I have to suggest staying organic and with soil, but change to normal photo period plants if you want to maximise your harvests. Photo period plants also benefit from 40+ years of breeding perfection, so the risk of getting weird plants is almost zero, something the auto flowers with their questionable and erratic genetics can not claim. You can harvests in as little as 10-12 weeks, especially if growing indicas and growing from clones can even knock another week or two off this. You will also consume much less electricity - 4 weeks veg at 18 hours plus 8 weeks at 12 hours equals 1176 hours of lights on, compared to autos at 18 hours a day for 12 weeks which equals 1512 hours of lights on. Growing photo period plants will save you 336 hours of lights on time over the 12 week cycle. You will also need water pumps, heaters and a lot of other power consuming devices. I know which power bill I would prefer to receive! Hope this helps,... Organoman.

I am happy to guide you through, I spent many years growing in multiple types of hydro systems although not with autos. If you want to shoot me any questions feel free to private message me. I advise watching a few YouTube tutorials to understand the different types of hydro systems available. Hydro growing is often made to sound extremely complex but is very simple, if you can grow in organically you will be fine in hydro with a little research👍
