To have multiple growing tips happening without any sort of outside interference is a genetic "flaw" and after experience with plants that did the same thing, unfortunately, I would have to say that if space is an issue, removing this plant may be a good solution to coming up with more space. In other words, save time and get rid of it. Since the veg growth is so abnormal, and with the ones that I had, this weirdness transferred to the flowers too, with weird and random growths everywhere, that took ages to finish and was rather mediocre in quality.
As to this deformity being caused by topping by other people who have grown plants like this in the past, is an absolute fairy tale. Unless breeding with the mutants and mutants only, in order to fix these traits genetically, no amount of previous topping will cause a genetic change to occur within a plants genotype. This plant is a genetic mutant, not a product of previous growing methods. Growing "fimmed" or "topped" plants is not the cause of this. It is plainly and only, a rare genetic mutation. Hope this helps,.... Organoman.
