Strip off small growth?

Hi. Now plants are in Flowering phase, I am wondering whether I should strip off some of the small growth occurring on the lowest arms (see red rings on photo), and therefore try to concentrate the growth/energy in the upper branches and therefore the potentially bigger buds?

I agree with harbinger. You’ve got a real stretchy sativa here and she’s lanky and airy. Trimming lower bud sites at this juncture won’t do a whole lot given that you’re through most of transition at this point. You still can without detrimental effect absolutely, but it’s really not going to make much of a difference on the scales. If it were me, I probably wouldn’t bother. I’m greedy as fuck when it comes to my yields and there’s more than enough light penetration in the canopy to turn that little budlet into a decent nug. Best of luck with it!

I don't know every time I do defoliation and really really think about.. It doesn't make much of a difference compared to Light and nutrient levels. A big long sativa like that probably won't gain too much benefit as your light is already penetrating the canopy. Try it on one and not on the other.. See the difference.. at 10 weeks I'd argue that you won't change much as she is already well into flower.

Yea you will reduce the number of growing points causing the others to get bigger and denser. Also reducing final trim time. Good luck and happy growing 🌲🌲🌲👊

Yes! I do this because it robs the top buds of nutrients and energy, less light equals less development, and it stops any potential hermies. Good luck. ✌️🏼❤️🌱

Im weak at defoliation, but i just pinch off the little guys on bottom cause im making bigger leaves on top. but @ week 10 I expected a much bigger plant from Lemon Amnesia... not many leafs there... I might let the small leaves cause the plant will be able to catch more light and hold more energy.

Normal looking bud sites or too airy ?Hi guys,

What's going on here?Some buds on both strains are showing this look. It isn't widespread but is on 3 of 5 plants. Close to harvest and isn't a major deal but do want to know for future grows. My grow looks good. I will update my diary this weekend. We have to keep those buds looking good.
