You still have some time before your plants are mature, so no need to panic just yet. I agree with what The8thChevron said, flushing is not super critical, giving plain water for the last 5-7 days before harvest is all that is really required. On the topic of leaves, please, please do not remove anymore healthy green leaves, your plant needs her maximum amount of leaves to produce the maximum amount of energy, so she can grow her maximum flowers. Each leaf is like a "solar panel", less solar panels = less energy = less growth. I would also recommend going back to 18/6, this is the optimum day length for cannabis, any more is basically a waste of electricity. Cannabis can only grow so much during any 24 hour period and growth tops out at about 18 hours. 18 hours was derived at through over 80 years of scientific research and is a fact, not a random number plucked out of thin air. Plants do also actually need to "sleep" and undertake certain metabolic processes that they can not do during "lights on" time. I believe 24 hours of light for days/weeks/months on end, basically amounts to plant "torture". Nowhere on this planet has any plant ever evolved to perform best under continuous lighting. I am sure your plant will not be able to produce fully developed cannabinoids while existing without "sleep". She is no doubt completely exhausted by now and under some certain stress, a condition that is not conducive to peak trichome production. Be kind to her and she will give you kind flowers. Continuing with a torturous non stop lighting schedule will produce tortured flowers. Going back to 18/6 will not effect your plant detrimentally, in fact she will probably respond by growing faster and healthier. And that is what it is all about - healthy plants = healthy flowers. Hope this helps, and sorry for the lecture, but I am acting in the best interests of your plant. Organoman.

The only way to known it's time to cut, it's by looking at the trichomes with a microscope : - transparent: continue ; - milky: continue - amber: time to plan harvesting Depending of what type of nutrients do you use, you may not need to flush your plant. With minerals nutrients, like Flora series, who go almost directly inside the plant, watering with water only just couples of days before harvesting, may be a good idea just to clean up the stems (not a full week or two as I read some times). With Super Soil and vegetal nutrients to a lesser extend, they're an active macrobiotic process you can't stop in the soil. You just need to let the soil dry before harvesting. I'm not convinced by flushing product, but I've tried Power Clean from Bio Technology in addition of using the excellent Elycitor (from the same brand) my last grow and it only claims to send a good end-of-life signal to the plant by using Sulfur trioxide and Magnesium oxide, not cleaning the plant from inside like other do. I have no opinion about it yet, but I have a bottle to finish, so we'll see at my next harvest. ^^

You still have around 4 weeks left from the looks of it. I advise against flushing. If done right, it accomplishes nothing, if done wrong you'll starve your plant and kill your yield/potency. If you're dead set on flushing, you want to start when you start seeing amber trichomes (on buds, not leaves). At that point, somewhere around 80% of the hairs should've turned red.

Hi !

I'd give them about 3 more wks before even thinking of flushing mate. Pistils are all white and there's plenty of time for those buds to fatten up.
