light cycles for autoflowers

During flower do the autoflowers need 12/12 or are they ok to leave on 18 hours. I was told both so im not sure what one is true but I do know someone here will have an answer for me. Thanks in advance happy growing.

Ud want to keep it on 18 hours. I run my Indoor autos on 20hrs per day the whole grow. U will dramatically reduce yield and lengthen flowering time dropping her down to 12/12... happy growing and stay lit fam.

Thank you both so much. I always figured being an "Automatic Flowering" strain that I would not have to change. Now my brother had a strain he needed to switch and it was also auto so it threw me off a little and being my first Autos I wanted to make sure I get it right. I think there doing ok but it will be time for flower soon. Again thanks very much to you all

Hey Growmie,
They actually need to be on a 18/6 to make they get optimal growth. Now if they aren't flowering correctly then switch them to 12/12. Hopefully I answered your question and remember Happy Growing and Free your mind one puff at a time.

What do you guys count as day 1 of flower, the flip to 12-12 or the first pistils comin in?I ask because I wanna make sure I'm counting accurately for the timing of the flush. My GSC took 2 weeks of 12-12 before showing pistils so is that actually 2 weeks of flower or does 8-10 weeks of flower start from the first pistils?Week 9

Should I start feeding again since breeders harvest time seems to be to short?If my grow is looking like harvest around 15 weeks. GC puts GG AUTO at 55-65 days flower time.
