The last question I posted had some solid answers. So big thanks. But everyone seemed to say the photo was of a sugar leaf, and not my bud. Do I need to remove a bud and break in half for a quality pic? Not sure what I’m doing wrong here, 1st timer. Looking down at bud here

Hi !

The trichomes on the outside of the bud is what you want to monitor. Whem the trichomes turn amber that is a degradation of THC into CBN, which gives a more body high from what I have read. Most guides and feedback I have seen go for 80% milky, 10 -15% amber and remainder will be clear for a couch stone. With the great knowledge of the community cross checking my pics and the guides I found below I have a better understanding of what to look for in trichomes readiness. https://www.zambeza.com/blog-harvesting-cannabis-by-looking-at-the-trichomes-n21 https://www.edrosenthal.com/the-guru-of-ganja-blog/the-cannabis-ripening-process

I see light amounts of Amber so I would harvest but it's a lot about personal preference.. Harvest half now and half in a week and see how you like the difference.
