When is the best time to harvest your plant?

I know everyone has their own opinions on when to harvest. Is it better to have some amber trichomes or a lot? I have read that the more amber trichomes the stronger the effect that the smoke will have. It that true or just bullshit? 😎👌

the reason most growers talk about amber trichromes is because its a forsure sign the rest of the plant is mature.
Every grower has their opinions. Even myself. But its proven that thc% is highest when the trichromes are milky.
So growers will wait until some of the plant (10 to 20%) is amber. This is the tipping point. You don't want to harvest late with a lot of amber. Or harvest to early with not enough milky..
My answer is no.its not good to have a lot of amber trichromes. Remember. Amber= degrading thc

70/30 cloudy amber. Check multiple buds, place microscope on sides of buds. I also don’t start checking until all the white hairs have changed color and receeded into buds. Of the 70+ strains I’ve grown most have finished between 10.5- 13 weeks. Also look for swollen calyx and notice when plant starts up taking less water.

Klopt ergens wel.
De meeste gaan voor een combinatie van melkachtig met wat amberkleurig, omdat de wiet dan de hoogste potentie heeft en het geeft een stoned effect.
Er zijn er ook die oogsten met enkel melkachtige trichomen, dan krijg je een energieke en euforische high.
Hoe meer amberkleurig, hoe meer THC er eigenlijk word afgebroken en word omgezet naar CBN.
Dan krijg je dus medicinale wiet.

trichomes are all milky cloudy, but no sign of amber trichomes, flowers are too heavy and stems can't support the weight
