Is the first day of flower the first day of 12 hours light or when you begin to see buds?

Hi! We usually count as the first day of flowering phase when turning the lights into a 12 hours schedule. But the plant takes a few days to "realise" the photoperiod change is effective. Anyway, you may start to see pistils really quickly (in around a week).

You count from the first 12/12 day/night for a photo period, and if you are doing an auto then you count from the first signs of bud development. Cheers 💨
