Yes you can do it , by this way the plant will focus on the buds and the buds only. It's like when you top your lady , she's redirecting her energy to different spots. A good idea

Leaf discolouration -- what's the reason?Growing 2 plants under exactly same conditions: one is completely healthy; the other one got some leaf issues. The discolouration starts in her older leaves and then spreads onto the younger ones.

What do you say, how is this beginning of the 5th week going?Week 5, 3.2L pot (I know it’s small) and about 8h direct light. Add CalMag or Manganese? Still slightly discolored and veiny leaves on week 6Calcium or Manganese deficiency? Last week had what I thought was early calcium deficiency. Gave it a dose of CalMag but now not sure if it’s still Calcium or possibly Manganese.
