Yes you can do it , by this way the plant will focus on the buds and the buds only. It's like when you top your lady , she's redirecting her energy to different spots. A good idea

Possible Nutrient issues with 1 week old baby plantNewbie grower having a possible problem with a new plant. Plant is 1 week old and is developing what I think is maybe a nutrient deficiency. Plant getting lighter — deficiency or excess?Plant getting lighter overall. Thought it was N deficiency. Since N is mobile, expect older leaves to fade first. But its more the top/whole plant. Using Floragard Grow Mix w/ Greenhouse Feeding Bio Grow (1/3 dose due to pre-fertilized soil). Bloom fertilizer was added yesterday.

what are these white spots on the upper leaves?(Skunk 1Fem Sensi Seed ,Plagron Alga Nutries)I only see such white spots on the tops of a few plants,The plants have been flowering for 21 days they are beautiful anyway, i don't see much trouble, i just haven't seen such white spots on the top of the plant yet, the lamp is high enough and the temperature is perfect. Seedling curving down and turning pale greenThe leaves of my two seedlings are curving down and it turns a little bit palw green. I think I overwatered the first days, but now it looks like the substrate is really dry (I didn't watered the last 2 days) but I'll wait a little more. So is it the problem or I miss something ?

Slight discoloration in the leavesThe leaves are starting to get slightly discolored on the edges, what could be causing this? Could it be the white flies? Or could it be too many nutrients? I am giving the plant a bit of Canna A and B, although it's meant for hydroponic, it's all I have at the moment.

First grow yellowing seedlings :( nute problem?I seem to be following all the instructions on grow temperature range, light distance, and watering schedule(only watering hen the medium is drying); I've hardly used any nutes until day 22 as advised and I personally think this has caused me some issues although I may be wrong.

sad lookin leaves coming to the end of the first growhi guys, snapped a couple photos of this while I was checkin on the plant this morning but I cant tell whether the plant is being burnt by the lights or its deficient in something, the affected area is 99% in the top leaves however a couple of lower ones are also looking sad.

HELP—Trained eye needed for a nutrient deficiency diagnostic!!!—HELPCan anyone help me with diagnosing what appears to be a nutrient deficiency? I used Jobe's fertilizer sticks (13-4-5) [I know, horrible stuff but its all I could get for the next two weeks] which I diluted to 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 of the recommended amount as per label. CHEERS!6y ago
